About us
We are a collaborative research group consisting of medical students and doctors from across the UK and beyond. Our group covers a broad range of research interests and project types. By bringing together teams of multi-disciplinary researchers, we hope to deliver research that translates to improved clinical outcomes. We also want to provide a platform to help medical students and junior doctors develop research interests and provide support to them as they begin their research careers. Our central committee and advisors are always happy to answer questions or point researchers in the right direction if they're stuck at any point.
We run a range of research projects, from orthopaedics to public health. We are also particularly interested in researching emerging technologies. Since our group is made up of relatively early stage researchers, we enjoy projects which explore, and possibly build, innovations that will shape the next generation of clinical practice. Telemedicine, machine learning and space medicine are key areas of interest.
We welcome applications to get involved as a researcher. No previous experience is required, if you're enthusiastic about research and keen to learn new skills we'd like to hear from you. When organising research teams, we try to partner those with little experience with those who have more. Team leads have prior research experience and with our team of advisors and the central committee, help is always available to those who request it.
If you have an idea for a research project that you'd like to run or that you'd like help with, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We're always keen to hear from other research organisations, startups and potential collaborators.
